Your Guide to the Macross & Robotech Watch Collection
If you have spent any time looking for a Robotech or Macross watch that is actually worth wearing, you already know the problem.
This collection pairs officially licensed Macross and Robotech designs with two watch formats: quartz chronographs and a modular mechanical set. Choose the design and movement that fit how you plan to wear or collect it.
Two tiers. One universe.
The 40th Anniversary Collectible Sealed Edition now includes Ver.1.0 and Ver.2.0. Ver.2.0 adds designs including U.N SPACY, Roy Fokker, Rick Hunter, Max, and Milia. Check each product page for its current variant choices.
Both anniversary editions use quartz chronograph movements with analog time and date displays. Ver.1.0 has a nylon strap; Ver.2.0 has an artificial leather strap and comes in a labeled sealed box. The Single Random option starts at $45; named Ver.2.0 designs are $60. Check the product pages for the latest options and prices.
At the other end of the collection sits the modular mechanical watch set. One movement. Two cases. Two straps.
The idea is straightforward: a single high-grade mechanical movement that transfers between two completely different watch configurations.
Wear the tactical style strap on a weekday. Switch to the Macross/Robotech design strap for a convention or a display shelf.
The interchangeable format makes sense for a franchise built around transforming machines.
How to choose
Start with how you wear watches. If you want a quartz chronograph, compare the Macross 40th Anniversary Collectible Sealed Edition Ver.1.0" and Macross 40th Anniversary Collectible Sealed Edition Ver.2.0" designs.
Ver.1.0 offers a nylon strap, while Ver.2.0 offers an artificial leather strap and a labeled sealed box.
Choose a named design if you want to know which one you are getting; select Single Random only if you are happy with a surprise.
If you are building a collection or want something that reflects the depth of your engagement with the franchise, the MACROSS ROBOTECH Modular Mechanical Watch is the one. Its interchangeable components offer a different experience from the two anniversary quartz chronographs.
All watches in this collection are officially licensed.
